Crafting estimate at current listings
No real market: too few listings for this price to mean anything yet.

- 7 gold95 silver
- Crafted item, lowest listed price (each)
- 996 gold56 silver
- Items per craft
- 5
- Listed value of one craft
- 4,982 gold80 silver
- Auction House cut (5%)
- 249 gold14 silver
- Estimated profit at that listed price
- 4,725 gold71 silver
Thin market: the crafted item’s lowest listing comes from very few current listings and sits far out of line with reagent cost. Treat this estimate as unverified until more listings accrue.
- Evidence: 6 current listings holding 193 units of the crafted item in the US region. We see listings, not sales, so how many sell and at what price is unknown.
- Outlier: the crafted item’s lowest listing is 100 times its 30-day median of 10 gold, so this estimate rests on a listing far above its usual level.
- Items per craft: the game’s spell data creates 5 per craft, so the listed value of one craft is that many times the lowest listed price.

Reading these numbers
At current lowest listed prices the 2 reagents for one craft of Spiced Rib Roast cost 7 gold95 silver. Most of that is Big Gamy Ribs - 5 at 1 gold14 silver each, 5 gold70 silver, 71.7% of the whole basket. Watch that one price and you have watched most of this recipe.
Break-even is 8 gold36 silver per craft, 1 gold67 silver per item at 5 items a craft - below that listed price the craft loses gold once Blizzard’s 5% cut is taken. The crafted item’s lowest listed price is 996 gold56 silver, which clears it.
At that listed price the gross margin before fees is 4,974 gold85 silver; the Auction House would keep 249 gold14 silver of a sale, leaving 4,725 gold71 silver. That is an estimated 59442.9% return on the gold you put into reagents, after the cut has taken 5.0% of the gross.
Listing depth right now: 193 units across 6 auctions region-wide. Depth separates a market price from a single asking figure, but listings are not sales, so read it alongside the estimate.
Costs use each reagent’s lowest listed price; the estimate is the crafted item’s lowest listed price, times the items one craft makes, minus those reagents and Blizzard’s 5% sale cut. Listings are asking prices, not sales. Recalculated every snapshot and left blank rather than guessed when a price is missing. How we estimate crafting profit →
