Reading these numbers
At current lowest listed prices the 5 reagents for one craft of Azshari Salad cost 113 gold11 silver. Most of that is Dreamleaf - 5 at 6 gold15 silver each, 30 gold75 silver, 27.2% of the whole basket. Watch that one price and you have watched most of this recipe.
Break-even is 119 gold6 silver per craft, 23 gold81 silver per item at 5 items a craft - below that listed price the craft loses gold once Blizzard’s 5% cut is taken. The crafted item’s lowest listed price is 17 silver, which does not clear it.
The crafted item currently lists for less than its reagents cost: −112 gold26 silver before fees, and the Auction House would still take 4 silver25 copper of a sale, so a craft loses 112 gold30 silver at these prices. At current listings, buying the crafted item costs less than making it. That is an estimated -99.3% return on the gold you put into reagents.
Listing depth right now: 115 units across 9 auctions region-wide. Depth separates a market price from a single asking figure, but listings are not sales, so read it alongside the estimate.
Costs use each reagent’s lowest listed price; the estimate is the crafted item’s lowest listed price, times the items one craft makes, minus those reagents and Blizzard’s 5% sale cut. Listings are asking prices, not sales. Recalculated every snapshot and left blank rather than guessed when a price is missing. How we estimate crafting profit →
