Reading these numbers
At current lowest listed prices the 2 reagents for one craft of Vantus Rune: Helya cost 120 gold. Most of that is Roseate Pigment - 30 at 2 gold90 silver each, 87 gold, 72.5% of the whole basket. Watch that one price and you have watched most of this recipe.
Break-even is 126 gold31 silver - below that listed price the craft loses gold once Blizzard’s 5% cut is taken. The crafted item’s lowest listed price is 245 gold97 silver, which clears it.
At that listed price the gross margin before fees is 125 gold97 silver; the Auction House would keep 12 gold29 silver of a sale, leaving 113 gold67 silver. That is an estimated 94.7% return on the gold you put into reagents, after the cut has taken 9.8% of the gross.
Listing depth right now: 10 units across 5 auctions region-wide. Depth separates a market price from a single asking figure, but listings are not sales, so read it alongside the estimate.
Costs use each reagent’s lowest listed price; the estimate is the crafted item’s lowest listed price, times the items one craft makes, minus those reagents and Blizzard’s 5% sale cut. Listings are asking prices, not sales. Recalculated every snapshot and left blank rather than guessed when a price is missing. How we estimate crafting profit →
