Crafting estimate at current listings
No real market: too few listings for this price to mean anything yet.
- Reagent cost (lowest listed)
- 107 gold50 silver
- Crafted item, lowest listed price
- 245 gold98 silver
- Auction House cut (5%)
- 12 gold29 silver
- Estimated profit at that listed price
- 126 gold18 silver
No real market: only 9 units across 4 auctions region-wide. With this little supply the lowest listing is one asking price rather than a market rate, so treat the estimate above as arithmetic, not an opportunity; a buyer at that price is not established.
- Evidence: 4 current listings holding 9 units of the crafted item in the US region. We see listings, not sales, so how many sell and at what price is unknown.

Reading these numbers
At current lowest listed prices the 2 reagents for one craft of Vantus Rune: Helya cost 107 gold50 silver. Most of that is Roseate Pigment - 25 at 2 gold90 silver each, 72 gold50 silver, 67.4% of the whole basket. Watch that one price and you have watched most of this recipe.
Break-even is 113 gold15 silver - below that listed price the craft loses gold once Blizzard’s 5% cut is taken. The crafted item’s lowest listed price is 245 gold98 silver, which clears it.
At that listed price the gross margin before fees is 138 gold48 silver; the Auction House would keep 12 gold29 silver of a sale, leaving 126 gold18 silver. That is an estimated 117.4% return on the gold you put into reagents, after the cut has taken 8.9% of the gross.
Listing depth right now: 9 units across 4 auctions region-wide. Depth separates a market price from a single asking figure, but listings are not sales, so read it alongside the estimate.
Costs use each reagent’s lowest listed price; the estimate is the crafted item’s lowest listed price, times the items one craft makes, minus those reagents and Blizzard’s 5% sale cut. Listings are asking prices, not sales. Recalculated every snapshot and left blank rather than guessed when a price is missing. How we estimate crafting profit →
