Where you hear it

ui_epicloot_toast_01.ogg accompanies the purple loot toast that slides up from the bottom of the screen when an epic lands in your bags. Boss loot, bonus rolls and weekly reward caches can all trigger it. For raiders it is the payoff after hours of wipes, and for alts it can arrive out of nowhere from a world quest. The cue is quick and bright, timed to the flash of the purple border. The '_01' suffix and 'ui_' prefix mark it as part of the modern interface sound set rather than the launch-era files.

TriggerPlays with the loot toast that appears when you receive an epic item.

Use it as

Ringtone

Epic Loot Toast runs 2.3 seconds, enough for one full play before most people pick up, and it loops back cleanly.

Notification sound

Over a text, a bright two-second toast registers instantly and is hard to confuse with a stock phone chime.

Discord soundboard

On a soundboard the 2.3-second Epic Loot Toast clip lands and finishes before anyone has to stop talking.

  1. Download the OGG or MP3 above.

Windows

  1. Windows sound schemes only take WAV files, so convert the MP3 to WAV first (Audacity or any audio converter does it in one export).
  2. Open Settings, System, Sound, More sound settings, then the Sounds tab.
  3. Pick an event such as Notification, click Browse, choose the WAV, then Apply.

OBS alert

  1. Download the MP3 above.
  2. In your alert tool (Streamlabs or StreamElements) set it as the alert sound file.
  3. Or in OBS add a Media Source with the MP3, untick Loop, and fire it with a hotkey.
