Where you hear it

pvpflagtakenmono.ogg rings out when an enemy grabs your flag or your side takes theirs. Warsong Gulch introduced it, and Twin Peaks reuses the same rules. Hearing it means a carrier is on the move and the whole match pivots around chasing them. A Horde-tinted version exists so each faction hears its own variant. The 'mono' in the name marks it as a non-positional sound everyone hears equally.

TriggerPlays in capture-the-flag battlegrounds when a flag is picked up from its base.

On a soundboard the 2.0-second Flag Taken clip lands and finishes before anyone has to stop talking.

  2. Open Settings, System, Sound, More sound settings, then the Sounds tab.
  3. Pick an event such as Notification, click Browse, choose the WAV, then Apply.

OBS alert

  1. Download the MP3 above.

  3. Or in OBS add a Media Source with the MP3, untick Loop, and fire it with a hotkey.
