Where you hear it

pvpwarning.ogg tells players that something important has changed on the battlefield. In Arathi Basin it plays when a base comes under attack, and similar events in other battlegrounds use it too. Faction-tinted versions sit beside it for Alliance and Horde. At over five seconds it is a full horn-like alert rather than a blip. Defenders guarding the Stables or the Blacksmith learn to react to it instantly.

TriggerPlays with battleground alerts such as a base being assaulted or a node being contested.

Use it as

Notification sound

Over a text, a five-second battlefield alert registers instantly and is hard to confuse with a stock phone chime.

Discord soundboard

The full PvP Warning clip runs 5.3 seconds, past a 5.2-second soundboard slot, so cut the most recognisable part.

Alarm

As an alarm, PvP Warning (mastered near -15.2 LUFS) was built to be heard over game audio, and it loops without a gap until you are up.
