Where you hear it

iabilitiesopena.ogg sounds when the spellbook opens. Its name uses 'abilities' because the original interface treated the book as an abilities frame. New players open it constantly to drag spells onto action bars, while veterans mostly see it after learning a new rank or talent. The sound has a papery, page-turning character that suits a book. It is under a second long, which keeps it out of the way.

TriggerPlays when the spellbook and abilities frame opens, by default with the P key.

  2. Open Settings, System, Sound, More sound settings, then the Sounds tab.
  3. Pick an event such as Notification, click Browse, choose the WAV, then Apply.

  3. Or in OBS add a Media Source with the MP3, untick Loop, and fire it with a hotkey.
