Classic Interface Sounds
The everyday interface sounds that defined the original game: dinging, turning in quests, opening the Auction House, rummaging through your bags and finding flight paths. Nearly all of these are unchanged in Classic today.

The original 2004 interface sounds are some of the most heard audio in gaming. Many keep their launch-era file names, with the 'i' prefix on files like iquestcomplete and itellmessage, and both Classic Era and the modern game still use them.
This hub collects those classic interface cues: quests, bags, the spellbook, the talent window, flight paths and the hearthstone bind. Each page explains the exact click or event behind the sound, how it has survived later redesigns, and which neighbouring files share its folder. Most are under two seconds, which makes them some of the cleanest notification tones in the game.
A second level-up fanfare stored next to the original ding in the interface folder.
The small tick you get each time a quest counter goes up, like 4/10 boars slain.
