Execution

Tooltip

The caster readies their axe to execute the target. If the victim is not freed from their bonds within 20 sec they will die instantly.

How it works

It does not trigger the global cooldown, so it can be used between other casts.

Execution is built from 4 client effects, applied in this order:

  1. Effect 1 is Dummy (effect type 3).
  2. Effect 2 is Apply Aura (effect type 6). It applies aura type 23. It ticks every 20 sec. It triggers Execution.
  3. Effect 3 is Trigger Spell (effect type 64). It triggers Chaotic Engery.
  4. Effect 4 is Create Area Effect (effect type 179). Its area radius is 9 yards.

What it does

Execution is a Shadow spell with an instant cast, a range of 100 yards, a 45 sec cooldown and effects that last 20 sec. When cast it applies an aura every 20 sec and has a Create Area Effect effect in a 9 yard radius. It also casts Execution (record #202364) and Chaotic Engery.

Generated from the SpellEffect, SpellMisc, SpellCooldowns and SpellRange records in the current retail game build. Effects the client marks as internal hooks are left out.
