TheWoWDBToday I did this. I it turned my blue cutters and the green cutters into a blue dagger and blue off hand, neither of value to me. And now i have no tool. So basically paid about 60k in mats maybe more for a point of knowledge.
Now i need to go buy another blue cutter.
But hey! Got that knowledge!

Another note, this seems to favor any needle kit other than you have equipped. I bought a cheap 2 star needle kit, equipped it and put my good 5 star kit safely in the bank. This recipe reached into my bank (not the reagent tab, actual bag slot) and destroyed my 5 star. Not a huge issue, but another mark against this already very frustrating recipe.
