~ I thought I should add this small note to the beginning: this wall of text is mathematical proof that marine229002 is correct. There is nothing else here, so if you don't need proof and/or math confuses you, you can save yourself some time by stopping here. ~

Actually, the 20% of Crusader Aura is applied to your movement speed after the 310%, so it is not 330%.

It is 410% (100% base speed + 310% mount speed) + 82% (20% of 410) = 492% total movement speed. (or just 392% extra from the mount)

Why are people down-rating information that is mathematically correct without any support to argue against it?
I've done not one, but multiple different tests on this after reading marine229002's post, and every test I have made supports it.

I've used multiple addons which track speed and each one showed that the difference between my speed with crusader aura compared to without it was on a 1.2:1 respective ratio.

Taking into account that the addons I used could have been using an incorrect formula to calculate my speed, I decided to borrow my girlfriend's Paladin and do some tests to bring out raw data. I then marked the locations of 3 linear paths -- one in The Barrens, one going from Icecrown to The Storm Peaks, and one from Dragonblight to Borean Tundra -- and went along the courses with 3 different speed mounts and recorded results as shown below (time intervals are shown in m:ss):

¤ In The Barrens, on a 100% speed increase mount, I ran from my first landmark to the second in 0:29 with crusader aura inactive; I then returned to the first landmark and ran the same linear path in 0:24 with crusader aura active.
¤ For my next test, I used a 280% speed increase mount and flew a linear path from one landmark in northern Icecrown to a second landmark in the middle of The Storm Peaks. This path took me 2:13 without crusader aura and 1:50 with it active.
¤ My last test was on a 310% speed increase mount and went from the very top of Wyrmrest Temple to a landmark in Coldarra, and took me 3:42 to fly without crusader aura and 3:06 with crusader aura.

Now that we have the raw data, let's do the math:
Let T1 represent the time flown with crusader aura inactive; let T2 represent the time flown with crusader aura active; 1.2 represents the speed modifier of crusader aura.

T1 = 1.2 * T2
T2 = T1 / 1.2
1.2 = T1 / T2

If crusader aura is in fact a multiplier rather than a flat increase, the equations above will hold true. Now, let's use the second formula to figure out what T2 should be if marine229002's theory is correct:

¤ (60 * 0 + 29) / 1.2 ≈ 24.1667 ≈ 0:24
¤ (60 * 2 + 13) / 1.2 ≈ 110.833 ≈ 1:51
¤ (60 * 3 + 42) / 1.2 = 185 = 3:05

None of the results above are more than a second off from my test results. The slight difference is obviously because of human inaccuracy, which is hard to avoid while testing. Regardless, you can clearly see here that the 120% multiplier holds true.

For further comparison and supporting proof, here is what my test results should have looked like if it were a flat increase rather than a multiplier:

¤ 0:29 at 100% speed increase would have taken 0:26 with crusader aura.
Proof: (2.0 / (2.0 + 0.2)) * (60 * 0 + 29) ≈ 26.364 ≈ 0:26
¤ 2:13 at 280% speed increase would have taken 2:06 with crusader aura.
Proof: (3.8 / (3.8 + 0.2)) * (60 * 2 + 13) = 126.35 ≈ 2:06
¤ 3:42 at 310% speed increase would have taken 3:32 with crusader aura.
Proof: (4.1 / (4.1 + 0.2)) * (60 * 3 + 42) ≈ 211.67 ≈ 3:32

You can clearly see that these results are quite inaccurate compared to when we calculate them with crusader aura as a multiplier.

So here is full mathematical proof that crusader aura does indeed multiply your mounted speed by 120% instead of just adding 20% of your regular movement speed. You can't argue with math... I'm just sayin'.
