Source is the collection journal’s own source for each appearance, read from the current retail build; bosses, quests, recipes, prices and requirements come from the game’s item, journal and quest records.

This is a complete head-to-toe outfit - it fills 8 armor slots, so it can be worn as a full look with nothing borrowed from another set. Every piece is Bind on Pickup, so the appearances have to be earned rather than bought.

5 of this set's 8 pieces drop from 4 encounters in Sunwell Plateau. The rest come from vendors, quests, crafting or world drops, which the dungeon journal does not record.

• Kalecgos - Sunwell Plateau - Starstalker Legguards
• Kil'jaeden - Sunwell Plateau - Coif of Alleria, Thalassian Ranger Gauntlets
• M'uru - Sunwell Plateau - Vicious Hawkstrider Hauberk
• The Eredar Twins - Sunwell Plateau - Mantle of the Golden Forest

Drop chances are not stored in the client data we mine, so none are shown here.

3 pieces of Gronnstalker's Battlegear are sold by vendors. The game's own collection data lists 1 place where they are sold.

• Isle of Quel'Danas

vendor in Isle of Quel'Danas

The pin is the vendor position the game data records in Isle of Quel'Danas.

4 bosses in Sunwell Plateau drop pieces of this set. Each instance below carries its Adventure Guide entry, where its entrance is, and what each boss drops.

Sunwell Plateau

The entrance is in Isle of Quel'Danas at 44.3, 45.9 (/way #122 44.3 45.9).

• 2 pieces: Increases focus regeneration by 10%.
• 4 pieces: Increases the damage dealt by your Steady Shot ability by 10%.

8 companion sets shipped in the Sunwell Plateau group alongside it:

• Sunwell Vestments of Absolution - 13 pieces - Priest
• Sunwell Skyshatter Raiment - 23 pieces - Shaman
• Sunwell Slayer's Battlegear - 10 pieces - Rogue
• Sunwell Lightbringer Battlegear - 20 pieces - Paladin
• Sunwell Tempest Garb - 10 pieces - Mage
• Sunwell Thunderheart Regalia - 26 pieces - Druid
• Sunwell Onslaught Battlegear - 18 pieces - Warrior
• Sunwell Malefic Regalia - 8 pieces - Warlock

1 piece shares its appearance with items outside this set, each with its own collection source:

• Coif of Alleria uses the same appearance as Earthshatter Faceguard.

2 other sets reuse the 3D models of Gronnstalker's Battlegear’s head and shoulder, most shared models first:

• Brutal Gladiator's Ringmail Armor (The Burning Crusade, 28 pieces): the same head and shoulder models, recoloured.
• Brutal Gladiator's Chain Armor (The Burning Crusade, 9 pieces): the same head and shoulder models, recoloured.

Matched in the game files: each piece’s ItemDisplayInfo names its 3D model and texture. The same model with another texture is a recolour. Only pieces with a 3D model of their own (helms, shoulders, cloaks, weapons, shields, off-hands and some belts and robes) can be compared this way; pieces drawn from textures alone are left out.
