Source is the collection journal’s own source for each appearance, read from the current retail build; bosses, quests, recipes, prices and requirements come from the game’s item, journal and quest records.

This is a complete head-to-toe outfit - it fills 8 armor slots, so it can be worn as a full look with nothing borrowed from another set. 12 of 13 pieces are Bind on Pickup.

• Kil'jaeden - Sunwell Plateau - Cowl of Light's Purity, Handguards of the Dawn
• M'uru - Sunwell Plateau - Robes of Faltered Light

Drop chances are not stored in the client data we mine, so none are shown here.

6 pieces of Vestments of Absolution are sold by vendors. The game's own collection data lists 1 place where they are sold.

• 2 pieces: Increases the duration of your Shadow Word: Pain ability by 3 sec.
• 4 pieces: Increases the damage from your Mind Blast ability by 10%.

8 companion sets shipped in the Sunwell Plateau group alongside it:

• Sunwell Lightbringer Battlegear - 20 pieces - Paladin
• Sunwell Tempest Garb - 10 pieces - Mage

3 other sets reuse the 3D models of Vestments of Absolution’s head and shoulder, most shared models first:

• Brutal Gladiator's Satin Armor (The Burning Crusade, 17 pieces): the same head and shoulder models, recoloured.
• Brutal Gladiator's Felweave Armor (The Burning Crusade, 13 pieces): the same head and shoulder models, recoloured.
• Brutal Gladiator's Silk Armor (The Burning Crusade, 8 pieces): the same head and shoulder models, recoloured.

Matched in the game files: each piece’s ItemDisplayInfo names its 3D model and texture. The same model with another texture is a recolour. Only pieces with a 3D model of their own (helms, shoulders, cloaks, weapons, shields, off-hands and some belts and robes) can be compared this way; pieces drawn from textures alone are left out.

1 piece of Vestments of Absolution can be listed on the Auction House (it does not bind on pickup); 1 has a listing on US connected realms in our latest scan.

Lowest listed price on any US connected realm in our recorded Auction House scan, per piece; transmog gear is priced per realm, so the realm named is where that price was seen.
