Source is the collection journal’s own source for each appearance, read from the current retail build; bosses, quests, recipes, prices and requirements come from the game’s item, journal and quest records.

This is a complete head-to-toe outfit - it fills 8 armor slots, so it can be worn as a full look with nothing borrowed from another set. 9 of 10 pieces are Bind on Pickup.

4 of this set's 10 pieces drop from 4 encounters in Sunwell Plateau. The rest come from vendors, quests, crafting or world drops, which the dungeon journal does not record.

• Felmyst - Sunwell Plateau - Leggings of the Immortal Night
• Kil'jaeden - Sunwell Plateau - Duplicitous Guise
• M'uru - Sunwell Plateau - Shadowed Gauntlets of Paroxysm
• The Eredar Twins - Sunwell Plateau - Shoulderpads of Vehemence

Drop chances are not stored in the client data we mine, so none are shown here.

4 pieces of Slayer's Battlegear are sold by vendors. The game's own collection data lists 1 place where they are sold.

• Isle of Quel'Danas

The pin is the vendor position the game data records in Isle of Quel'Danas.

4 bosses in Sunwell Plateau drop pieces of this set. Each instance below carries its Adventure Guide entry, where its entrance is, and what each boss drops.

Sunwell Plateau

The entrance is in Isle of Quel'Danas at 44.3, 45.9 (/way #122 44.3 45.9).

Sunwell Plateau entrance

• Felmyst drops 1 piece of this set (Legs). Adventure Guide map pin: 72.8, 82.6 on the Sunwell Plateau map.
• The Eredar Twins drops 1 piece of this set (Shoulder). Adventure Guide map pin: 64.2, 32.1 on the Sunwell Plateau map.

3 pieces of this appearance set also belong to the item set Slayer's Armor, which carries these bonuses in the game files:

• 2 pieces: Increases the haste from your Slice and Dice ability by 5%.
• 4 pieces: Increases the damage dealt by your Backstab, Sinister Strike, Mutilate, and Hemorrhage abilities by 6%.

8 companion sets shipped in the Sunwell Plateau group alongside it:

• Sunwell Vestments of Absolution - 13 pieces - Priest
• Sunwell Skyshatter Raiment - 23 pieces - Shaman
• Sunwell Lightbringer Battlegear - 20 pieces - Paladin
• Sunwell Tempest Garb - 10 pieces - Mage
• Sunwell Gronnstalker's Battlegear - 8 pieces - Hunter
• Sunwell Thunderheart Regalia - 26 pieces - Druid
• Sunwell Onslaught Battlegear - 18 pieces - Warrior
• Sunwell Malefic Regalia - 8 pieces - Warlock

2 other sets reuse the 3D models of Slayer's Battlegear’s head and shoulder, most shared models first:

• Brutal Gladiator's Leather Armor (The Burning Crusade, 9 pieces): the same head and shoulder models, recoloured.
• Brutal Gladiator's Dragonhide Armor (The Burning Crusade, 26 pieces): the same head and shoulder models, recoloured.

Matched in the game files: each piece’s ItemDisplayInfo names its 3D model and texture. The same model with another texture is a recolour. Only pieces with a 3D model of their own (helms, shoulders, cloaks, weapons, shields, off-hands and some belts and robes) can be compared this way; pieces drawn from textures alone are left out.

1 piece of Slayer's Battlegear can be listed on the Auction House (it does not bind on pickup); 1 has a listing on US connected realms in our latest scan.

Lowest listed price on any US connected realm in our recorded Auction House scan, per piece; transmog gear is priced per realm, so the realm named is where that price was seen.
