This is a complete head-to-toe outfit - it fills 8 armor slots, so it can be worn as a full look with nothing borrowed from another set. 11 of 12 pieces are Bind on Pickup.

2 of this set's 12 pieces drop from 2 encounters in Serpentshrine Cavern and The Eye. The rest come from vendors, quests, crafting or world drops, which the dungeon journal does not record.

• Lady Vashj - Serpentshrine Cavern - Cobra-Lash Boots
• High Astromancer Solarian - The Eye - Star-Strider Boots

Drop chances are not stored in the client data we mine, so none are shown here.

5 pieces of Rift Stalker Armor are sold by vendors. The game's own collection data lists 1 place where they are sold.

• Terokkar Forest

The pin is the vendor position the game data records in Terokkar Forest.

2 bosses in Serpentshrine Cavern and The Eye drop pieces of this set. Each instance below carries its Adventure Guide entry, where its entrance is, and what each boss drops.

Serpentshrine Cavern

The entrance is in Zangarmarsh at 51.9, 32.6 (/way #102 51.9 32.6).

Serpentshrine Cavern entrance

• Lady Vashj drops 1 piece of this set (Feet). Adventure Guide map pin: 72.3, 58.9 on the Serpentshrine Cavern map.

The Eye

The entrance is in Netherstorm at 73.9, 63.7 (/way #109 73.9 63.7).

5 pieces of this appearance set also belong to the item set Rift Stalker Armor, which carries these bonuses in the game files:

• 2 pieces: Causes your pet to be healed for 15% of the damage you deal.
• 4 pieces: Your Steady Shot ability has 5% increased critical strike chance.

8 companion sets shipped in the Serpentshrine Cavern group alongside it:

• Normal Avatar Regalia - 18 pieces - Priest
• Normal Destroyer Armor - 24 pieces - Warrior
• Normal Corruptor Raiment - 9 pieces - Warlock
• Normal Cataclysm Regalia - 26 pieces - Shaman
• Normal Deathmantle - 14 pieces - Rogue

1 other set reuses the 3D models of Rift Stalker Armor’s head and shoulder, most shared models first:

• Merciless Gladiator's Chain Armor (The Burning Crusade, 8 pieces): the same head and shoulder models, recoloured.

Matched in the game files: each piece’s ItemDisplayInfo names its 3D model and texture. The same model with another texture is a recolour. Only pieces with a 3D model of their own (helms, shoulders, cloaks, weapons, shields, off-hands and some belts and robes) can be compared this way; pieces drawn from textures alone are left out.

1 piece of Rift Stalker Armor can be listed on the Auction House (it does not bind on pickup); 1 has a listing on US connected realms in our latest scan.

Lowest listed price on any US connected realm in our recorded Auction House scan, per piece; transmog gear is priced per realm, so the realm named is where that price was seen.
