Source is the collection journal’s own source for each appearance, read from the current retail build; bosses, quests, recipes, prices and requirements come from the game’s item, journal and quest records.

This is a partial outfit - it fills 6 armor slots, so a full look needs 2 more slots from elsewhere. Every piece is Bind on Pickup, so the appearances have to be earned rather than bought.

1 boss in Firelands drop pieces of this set. Each instance below carries its Adventure Guide entry, where its entrance is, and what each boss drops.

Firelands

The Firelands is the molten domain forged by the titans to house Ragnaros and his wayward minions. Following Deathwing's emergence into Azeroth, Ragnaros and his servants surged onto the slopes of Mount Hyjal before being driven back by the sacred mountain's valiant defenders. Now Ragnaros is rallying his loyalists to defend the Firelands from Azeroth's champions.

The entrance is in Mount Hyjal at 47.0, 78.2 (/way #198 47.0 78.2).

Firelands entrance

• Ragnaros drops 1 piece of this set (Waist) on Heroic, 10 Player (Heroic) and 25 Player (Heroic). Adventure Guide map pin: 50.8, 15.4 on the Firelands map. Ragnaros, lord of the Firelands, embodies the fury and destruction of the primordial infernos that forged Azeroth itself. Promised the chance to set Azeroth aflame without interference from Neptulon and Therazane, Ragnaros seeks to appease the Old Gods by incinerating the World Tree of Nordrassil.

5 pieces of this appearance set also belong to the item set Vestments of the Cleansing Flame, which carries these bonuses in the game files:

• 2 pieces: Casting your Flash Heal, Heal, and Prayer of Mending spells cause you to regenerate 2% of your base mana every 5 sec for 15 sec.
• 4 pieces: You have a chance when you cast a helpful spell to summon a Cauterizing Flame at the target's location. Each sec the Cauterizing Flame will heal an injured party member within 40 yards for 2. Lasts 5 sec.
