Where to Farm This Set
9 bosses in Baradin Hold, Firelands and Mogu'shan Vaults drop pieces of this set. Each instance below carries its Adventure Guide entry, where its entrance is, and what each boss drops.
Following the Second War, the ruined fortress of Baradin Hold on the remote island of Tol Barad was converted into a prison for some of the most dangerous forces on Azeroth. Yet with the devastation wrought by the Cataclysm, the prison's integrity has been compromised. Now as the Horde and Alliance vie for supremacy on the island, the liberation of its forgotten horrors may be at hand.
The entrance is in Tol Barad at 47.7, 53.1 (/way #244 47.7 53.1).
Baradin Hold entrance
Occu'thar drops 2 pieces of this set (Hands, Legs) on Normal, Heroic, 10 Player, 25 Player, 10 Player (Heroic) and 25 Player (Heroic). Adventure Guide map pin: 15.6, 63.2 on the Baradin Hold map. This ravenous demon broke free of its cage and gained access to the western wing of the prison, devouring all of the inmates held there. Occu'thar's gluttony resulted in a body too bloated to escape its environs, effectively turning the prison wing into its new holding cell.
The Firelands is the molten domain forged by the titans to house Ragnaros and his wayward minions. Following Deathwing's emergence into Azeroth, Ragnaros and his servants surged onto the slopes of Mount Hyjal before being driven back by the sacred mountain's valiant defenders. Now Ragnaros is rallying his loyalists to defend the Firelands from Azeroth's champions.
The entrance is in Mount Hyjal at 47.0, 78.2 (/way #198 47.0 78.2).
Firelands entrance
Beth'tilac drops 2 pieces of this set (Chest) on Normal, Heroic, Timewalking, 10 Player and 25 Player. Adventure Guide map pin: 21.1, 32.8 on the Firelands map. Matriarch of the Cinderweb Brood, Beth'tilac and her merciless offspring sate their appetites by sucking the magma and fire from the corpses of elementals. To provide her broodlings with added sustenance, Beth'tilac has woven a network of incendiary webs throughout her lair to trap unsuspecting prey.
Lord Rhyolith drops 2 pieces of this set (Head) on Normal, Heroic, Timewalking, 10 Player and 25 Player. Adventure Guide map pin: 65.4, 75.0 on the Firelands map. Rhyolith is one of the most ancient elementals in existence, born from the primordial fires that forged Azeroth itself. He is responsible for the creation of new elementals in the Firelands and still possesses a searing hatred of the titans for what he considers monumental arrogance in relocating him.
Alysrazor drops 1 piece of this set (Chest) on Timewalking. Adventure Guide map pin: 64.4, 38.0 on the Firelands map. When Ragnaros's forces surged into Mount Hyjal, the green dragon Alysra betrayed her allies and helped liberate the traitorous archdruid Fandral Staghelm. As a reward, she was purified with fire and reborn as a fearsome fire hawk.
Shannox drops 3 pieces of this set (Feet, Legs) on Normal, Heroic, Timewalking, 10 Player and 25 Player. Adventure Guide map pin: 49.3, 44.3 on the Firelands map. The flamewakers are among the most feared elemental guardians in the Firelands. Shannox is no exception. Serving as the chief hunter and kennel master of Ragnaros's hell hounds, Shannox patrols the elemental realm with his two most ferocious beasts: Riplimb and Rageface.
Baleroc, the Gatekeeper drops 1 piece of this set (Hands) on Timewalking. Adventure Guide map pin: 49.5, 31.0 on the Firelands map. Baleroc earned a reputation as a merciless combatant during the elemental wars of ancient Azeroth. Now that he is confined to the Firelands, Baleroc's sanity has dwindled. Few elementals dare disturb him, fearful that they will become victim to his battle lust.
Majordomo Staghelm drops 1 piece of this set (Shoulder) on Timewalking. Adventure Guide map pin: 51.0, 72.5 on the Firelands map. The loss of his son, Valstann, in the War of the Shifting Sands utterly shattered Fandral Staghelm's spirit. Now empowered by Ragnaros as the new Majordomo of the Firelands (replacing the deceased Majordomo Executus) and the leader of the treacherous Druids of the Flame, Fandral seeks to bring ruin to Azeroth rather than live in a world without his beloved child.
Ragnaros drops 1 piece of this set (Head) on Timewalking. Adventure Guide map pin: 50.8, 15.4 on the Firelands map. Ragnaros, lord of the Firelands, embodies the fury and destruction of the primordial infernos that forged Azeroth itself. Promised the chance to set Azeroth aflame without interference from Neptulon and Therazane, Ragnaros seeks to appease the Old Gods by incinerating the World Tree of Nordrassil.
The mogu, proud of their supremacy, kept lengthy records of their accomplishments within a great complex of vaults. The construction of these vast chambers predate any pandaren written records, shrouding their depths in mystery. Rumors once circulated of a mighty army locked within; for this reason, the vaults were the first target of the ancient pandaren rebellion, and they have been sealed ever since the mogu empire was overthrown.
The entrance is in Kun-Lai Summit at 59.5, 39.3 (/way #379 59.5 39.3).
Mogu'shan Vaults entrance
Gara'jal the Spiritbinder drops 1 piece of this set (Feet) on 10 Player (Heroic) and 25 Player (Heroic). Adventure Guide map pin: 77.9, 34.5 on the Mogu'shan Vaults map. Leader of the Zandalar trolls' assault on the vaults, Gara'jal is determined to crack open this trove of ancient mystery and bring back whatever arcane power and knowledge he can find. Gifted with dark talents and surrounded by a loyal cadre of Zandalar mystics, he has broken through the outer walls and will not rest until the vaults belong to him.

The flavour text the item tooltip prints on 1 piece of this set:
Marquee Bindings of the Sun King: Contrary to popular belief, Kael'thas's favored, and usually final, utterance to his enemies was actually 'PYROBLAST!'.
Buying the Tradeable Pieces
4 pieces of Balespider's Burning Vestments can be listed on the Auction House (they do not bind on pickup); 4 have a listing on US connected realms in our latest scan.
Lowest listed price on any US connected realm in our recorded Auction House scan, per piece; transmog gear is priced per realm, so the realm named is where that price was seen.
The game data carries 2 separate set records under the name Balespider's Burning Vestments - one per class or armor weight, plus the per-slot recolours the appearance was built from. This page is the one we index for the name; the others are listed here so nothing is lost.
