Source is the collection journal’s own source for each appearance, read from the current retail build; bosses, quests, recipes, prices and requirements come from the game’s item, journal and quest records.

This is a complete head-to-toe outfit - it fills 8 armor slots, so it can be worn as a full look with nothing borrowed from another set. 13 of 14 pieces are Bind on Pickup.

3 of this set's 14 pieces drop from 3 encounters in Serpentshrine Cavern and The Eye. The rest come from vendors, quests, crafting or world drops, which the dungeon journal does not record.

• Lady Vashj - Serpentshrine Cavern - Belt of One-Hundred Deaths
• The Lurker Below - Serpentshrine Cavern - Boots of Effortless Striking
• High Astromancer Solarian - The Eye - Vambraces of Ending

Drop chances are not stored in the client data we mine, so none are shown here.

6 pieces of Deathmantle are sold by vendors. The game's own collection data lists 2 places where they are sold.

• Terokkar Forest
• Shattrath City

Serpentshrine Cavern

The entrance is in Zangarmarsh at 51.9, 32.6 (/way #102 51.9 32.6).

5 pieces of this appearance set also belong to the item set Deathmantle, which carries these bonuses in the game files:

• 2 pieces: Your Eviscerate and Envenom abilities cause 40 extra damage per combo point.
• 4 pieces: Your attacks have a chance to make your next finishing move cost no energy.

8 companion sets shipped in the Serpentshrine Cavern group alongside it:

• Normal Avatar Regalia - 18 pieces - Priest
• Normal Destroyer Armor - 24 pieces - Warrior
• Normal Corruptor Raiment - 9 pieces - Warlock
• Normal Cataclysm Regalia - 26 pieces - Shaman
• Normal Crystalforge Armor - 25 pieces - Paladin

1 other set reuses the 3D models of Deathmantle’s head and shoulder, most shared models first:

• Merciless Gladiator's Leather Armor (The Burning Crusade, 12 pieces): the same head and shoulder models, recoloured.

Matched in the game files: each piece’s ItemDisplayInfo names its 3D model and texture. The same model with another texture is a recolour. Only pieces with a 3D model of their own (helms, shoulders, cloaks, weapons, shields, off-hands and some belts and robes) can be compared this way; pieces drawn from textures alone are left out.

1 piece of Deathmantle can be listed on the Auction House (it does not bind on pickup); 1 has a listing on US connected realms in our latest scan.

Lowest listed price on any US connected realm in our recorded Auction House scan, per piece; transmog gear is priced per realm, so the realm named is where that price was seen.
