Source is the collection journal’s own source for each appearance, read from the current retail build; bosses, quests, recipes, prices and requirements come from the game’s item, journal and quest records.

This is a partial outfit - it fills 7 armor slots, so a full look needs 1 more slot from elsewhere. 17 of 18 pieces are Bind on Pickup.

2 of this set's 18 pieces drop from 2 encounters in Gruul's Lair and Serpentshrine Cavern. The rest come from vendors, quests, crafting or world drops, which the dungeon journal does not record.

• High King Maulgar - Gruul's Lair - Belt of Divine Inspiration
• Fathom-Lord Karathress - Serpentshrine Cavern - Soul-Strider Boots

Drop chances are not stored in the client data we mine, so none are shown here.

10 pieces of Avatar Regalia are sold by vendors. The game's own collection data lists 1 place where they are sold.

2 bosses in Gruul's Lair and Serpentshrine Cavern drop pieces of this set. Each instance below carries its Adventure Guide entry, where its entrance is, and what each boss drops.

Gruul's Lair

The entrance is in Blade's Edge Mountains at 69.4, 23.5 (/way #105 69.4 23.5).

Gruul's Lair entrance

• High King Maulgar drops 1 piece of this set (Waist). Adventure Guide map pin: 55.0, 57.1 on the Gruul's Lair map.

Serpentshrine Cavern

The entrance is in Zangarmarsh at 51.9, 32.6 (/way #102 51.9 32.6).

5 pieces of this appearance set also belong to the item set Avatar Raiment, which carries these bonuses in the game files:

• 2 pieces: If your Heal brings the target to full health, you gain 100 mana.
• 4 pieces: Increases the healing of Flash Heal by 15%.

8 companion sets shipped in the Serpentshrine Cavern group alongside it:

• Normal Corruptor Raiment - 9 pieces - Warlock
• Normal Cataclysm Regalia - 26 pieces - Shaman
• Normal Deathmantle - 14 pieces - Rogue
• Normal Crystalforge Armor - 25 pieces - Paladin

1 other set reuses the 3D models of Avatar Regalia’s head and shoulder, most shared models first:

• Merciless Gladiator's Satin Armor (The Burning Crusade, 14 pieces): the same head and shoulder models, recoloured.

Matched in the game files: each piece’s ItemDisplayInfo names its 3D model and texture. The same model with another texture is a recolour. Only pieces with a 3D model of their own (helms, shoulders, cloaks, weapons, shields, off-hands and some belts and robes) can be compared this way; pieces drawn from textures alone are left out.

1 piece of Avatar Regalia can be listed on the Auction House (it does not bind on pickup); 1 has a listing on US connected realms in our latest scan.

Lowest listed price on any US connected realm in our recorded Auction House scan, per piece; transmog gear is priced per realm, so the realm named is where that price was seen.
