How it works

Each cast of Garrote costs 50 Energy. Casting it triggers a 1 sec global cooldown.

Garrote is built from 2 client effects, applied in this order:

  1. Effect 1 is Apply Aura (effect type 6). It applies aura type 3. Its base value is 24 per tick. It ticks every 3 sec, 6 times over the full 18 sec (144 base in total).
  2. Effect 2 is Energize (effect type 30). Its base value is 1.

What it does

Garrote is a Physical spell with an instant cast, a range of 5 yards and effects that last 18 sec. When cast it applies an aura every 3 sec and restores a resource (base value 1). The client files the whole spell under the bleeding mechanic.
