How it works

Its aura procs every time its trigger condition is met.

Mind Flay is built from 2 client effects, applied in this order:

  1. Effect 1 is Apply Aura (effect type 6). It applies aura type 3. Its base value is 750 per tick. It scales with 0.1 times spell power. It ticks every 2 sec, 5 times over the full 10 sec (3750 base in total).
  2. Effect 2 is Apply Aura (effect type 6). It applies aura type 33. Its base value is -20.

What it does

Mind Flay is a Shadow spell with an instant cast, a range of 35 yards and effects that last 10 sec. When cast it applies an aura every 2 sec and applies an aura. The client files the whole spell under the ensnared mechanic.

Generated from the SpellEffect, SpellMisc, SpellCooldowns and SpellRange records in the WoW Forever beta client, build 1.60.1.70532. Effects the client marks as internal hooks are left out.
