As of 3.0, and the return of King Varian to Stormwind, the Onyxia attunement will be lifted, thus making this achievement as simple as a Saturday evening.

In order to allow people to still obtain a full set of T2 armor, Nefarian now drops the old T2 helmets, in addition to the T2 chestpieces. As you can see above, having one of the old T2 helmets is one of the criteria for being awarded this feat of strength.
You can probably see where this is going. The person in our BWL group who won the roll for Helm of Wrath was promptly awarded the Onyxia's Lair (Level 60) feat of strength :-x
I heard they nerfed the gold drop from Onyxia. Can anyone confirm that?
