Hi there everyone,

Just a quick update regarding this achievement. For those that did NOT earn this achievement when supposed to, Open a Support Ticket and Blizzard will grant this achievement to your account.

Here is my ticket response regarding this as evidence Blizzard will do this for you on this achievement! :-)

If you have issues getting it granted to you, I listed my Ticket Number in this post as a reference number you may provide Blizzard to show this achievement can be granted under this circumstance!

To open a ticket to the proper department follow these steps!:

Enter the Ticketing Support System at this link:
https://us.battle.net/support/en/ticket/status

Next click "Contact Support"
Under Choose a Product select "World of Warcraft"
Now select "In-Game Issue"
Next select "Loot or Achievement Issue"
Lastly then select "Achievement Issue"
Submit any information you feel is important and the name of the achievement not being granted properly. (Feel free to include the Ticket Number I provided in this thread this way support can look it up and see that it can be granted in this case)

You DON'T choose any race mount! Just cross starting line dismounted and you will have a strider with only one button! That's the mount, that gives achievement.

Also, be sure that that's your first small racing quest for the day.

Since patch 6.1, Darkmoon Race Enthusiast achievement is bugged and can not be awarded in certain cases. If you didn't got demanded Darkmoon Race Enthusiast achievement after finishing either The Real Race quest with Racing Strider or just Welcome to the Darkmoon Races quest, you propably won't get it on next runs.

Having Darkmoon Racer Novice achievement or Welcome to the Darkmoon Races quest done implies that you should be awarded Darkmoon Race Enthusiast achievement too. However, if you are not, contact a GM, stating that you should be awarded this achievement as you have either finished Welcome to the Darkmoon Races quest (that is first way Darkmoon Race Enthusiast should be awarded) or got Darkmoon Racer Novice achievement (that implies that you have finished The Real Race with Racing Strider, what is a second way Darkmoon Race Enthusiast should be awarded).

To check if you should be awarded Darkmoon Race Enthusiast achievement, one can type the following in-game command, that prints either true (meaning that achievement should be awarded) or nil otherwise:

/run print(IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(37819) or select(4, GetAchievementInfo(9756)));
