I wanted to complete assaults, did progress, killed the boss afterwards, but no achievement progress. You have to turn it in at NPCs to get credit:

- For a Black Empire assault on the Vale of Eternal Blossoms, finish Assault: The Black Empire at [npc=156003]: /way #1530 83.6 27.2 Lorewalker Cho
