For some stupid reason, it only counts the crates themselves, not the chest, making it next to impossible to actually obtain due to not only the enemy prescence but also your own teammates stealing credit from you

At the moment, you need to be the first one opening the chest to receive credit. Same with Resource Scavenger, where you need to loot the chest in all four zones.
Being the first one to open a chest does not currently work in Zaralek Caverns, despite the achievement states "in the Dragon Isles" /s
