Completely undoable until Blizzard allows players to contribute even if a contraption is completed.

Mobs everywhere, very hard to find an empty server, can't use mount, sometimes the contraptions are invisible... what a nightmare.

The World Quest having only been available twice in 6 weeks is also not an advantage.

This achievement requires you to spend your ore on repairing springboards, air defence systems and setting up a smoke screen instead of turning them in to finish the world quest. The contraptions stay repaired for 2 hours and cannot be donated to during that time period. There are NPCs called Reclamation Machinist in the area which are the NPCs you donate the ores to. It is possible to donate a maximum of 20 ore per NPC until the contraption gets repaired. They will have a bar over their head which displays how many ores they have received. The bar disappears when they are no longer accepting ore.

It seems like the contraptions can bug out sometimes and disappear.

The NPC that is on the roof of the building can be reached by clicking on the Wooden Plank slightly to the east and placing it down in order to create a ramp up to the scaffoling.

Tip: You get an extra action button during the World Quest which works like the Evoker abilities where you need to hold it down for improved effects. For the best result, wait until the third step until you release the button. It helps you regain stability.

It took me an hour to finish the achievement by logging in to different characters that I had at level 70 on different cross realm zone groups to see if there were available contraptions to donate to. You can do this achievement on 1 character, or spread out on different characters, since the progress is tracked account wide, much like other achievements now in The War Within. You can finish the other achievement [I Only Need One Trip] after you are done with this one.

The only reason I was able to complete this achievement was unemployment.
