It never ceases to infuriate me just how difficult it is to find clear and precise information instead of just vague bits and pieces that leave unanswered questions.
HOW TO SOLO THIS as a max level:
- Kill the two large ads at the bottom of the staircase.
- Aggro the boss.
- Do NOT nuke him down straight away. He needs to stay alive until he turns into a snake.
- Do NOT step in any green pools, green trails, green anything!
- After he turns into a snake, nuke him down!
That's it!

Just pull him without killing him I used the Fruit Basket Toy for it and then when he starts moving after 2-3 sec just kill him. You dont need him to transform into a snake.
That quote is also said by the Orc Grunt from Warcraft III when you click it enough times.
