Koralon the Flame Watcher (10 player)

Now we need the Water Watcher and Heart Watcher and we can finally summon captain planet!

For those who didn't know he won't be there until the new arena season starts..

Koralon is an immensely healing and tanking dependent fight. I tanked it on the PTR last night and believe me, it wasn't fun. 6 wipes, first attempt getting to 5%. I can confirm that the fire buff he stacks for 5% more damage starts after you pull the boss, so this is what the real enrage timer is. Really, about 4-5 minutes after the pull it is impossible to keep the tanks alive (25k flame punch). We had a setup with 2 tanks, 3 healers, and 5 dps. Our OT died twice the time we downed him, so it is really a one tank kind of fight. Damage is a mix of fire and normal damage. Koralon is an @#$%^&*, sev eral attempts he dropped not one, but 5 flame patches on the MT all within 2 seconds of each other. Our raid averaged about 3.6k dps between the 5 dps and was able to down him in around 3:35. Downing him at this point, Koralon had 13 stacks (65% more damage) and was hitting me from 35k to 100 health regularly.

If you plan on pugging this fight, few things to know:
Have 3 healers, trust me, it helps a LOT
You will have to gear check ALL healers AND tanks
Tanks need at least 32k unbuffed, or 36k+ buffed
Always have a fire res totem or aura up
Really only need one tank, so 6 dps, 3 heals and 1 tank
Make sure people move out of fires, they start to hurt when healing is sparce

This fight is a dps race, survival, and healing nightmare. They made a pretty hard boss this time, and may be unpuggable for a while.
