not really ironic since blizzard has been doing this for years. id say its moreso "salt on wounds." if you want real irony, check out ulduar. nothing says ironic/salt on wounds like a huge mechanically based instance that not only has 0 drops for engineers but also has a goggles drop for everyone to use.
Anyone else finding the title of this achievement deliciously ironic? :D
