Sandstorms in the Ohn'ahran Plains

Do sandstorms in this zone even exist any more on EU realms?
I'm waiting for months now, this is the last storm I need for the acm and either
I miss this one every time (in the middle of the night?) or it is never active.

Totally frustrating!

This one seems to be quite the rarity among all the other storm types, especially for the Ohn'ahran Plains zone. It's infuriating to try to look for sand and see every other storm hit that zone; feels like a design choice to keep the players around, but if it's truly going random then it's simply catching lightning in a bottle. Even with the two storms' update it is still a pain, but hey, at least you get two storms per every three hours. According to other players, there are two ways to tackle this one:

- Wait for an official Sandstorm to arrive in the Ohn'ahran Plains
or
- Check the Azure Span for a Sandstorm at the Cobalt Assembly, then head to the edge of the Ohn'ahran Plains that intersects with the Cobalt Assembly. Allegedly there can be adds or wildlife that spawn between the two zones that, if imbued with the storm, will count towards Ohn'ahran despite there being no official sandstorm in that zone. Simply make sure you're still on the Ohn'ahran side of things when you test the method.

Edit: The day I posted this the legendary sandstorm appeared in Ohn'ahran Plains. For the first time in two weeks.

Very easily done and soloable after TWW (lvl 80):

To do this achievements, you need to check your map while in the corresponding zone to see which elemental storm is active. (Water, earth, fire or air) and then go there to that icon and kill enemies with the [spell=400656] debuff.

• You can also find which storms are active in which zones by looking on the Wowhead homepage under "today in wow" and then select Dragonflight.

• Storms are only active for a few hours before dissipating, and multiple storms can be active across the continent.
• 
  
• There are achievements for all storms in all main zones, except the Emerald dream, Zaralek caverns and the Forbidden Reach.
• 
  
• There are achievements for doing the 200 kills of every type of storm in the 4 main zones (see below).
