This achievement will also count ilvl 187+ Epics towards its completion for that slot. For example, I have a Libram of Obstruction that worked just fine. Additionally, you only need a single ring and trinket to qualify for the achievement; you can swap the item between the two slots and it counts.

Tip - If you have superior item for "First Trinket" and not "Second Trinket", simply switch them over, and it'll work for both.
