Best mobs to farm are in wintergrasp at 13,65. Living Lasher. Lots of mobs all in one place, fast respawn rate. However, they don't respawn while the pvp event is in progress, which is every 2.5 hours.

Here's some more info on the Living Lashers in The Steppes of Life (Southwestern Wintergrasp, the green patch of land) .

There are 20 Living Lashers in this location. They are basically in a circle. So I performed a test, to see how the drop rate was. I did it both while Wintergrasp was controlled by Horde and Alliance and saw no difference in the drop rate.

It took me at the fastest, 4 mins to clear all 20, but most of the time my average clear time was 5 mins on the button. I performed 14 runs of the circle, here was the resulting Crystallized Life drops each run:

1 - 3 drops
2 - 2 drops
3 - 3 drops
4 - 11 drops
5 - 1 drop
6 - 3 drops
7 - 10 drops
8 - 5 drops
9 - 12 drops
10 - 6 drops
11 - 4 drops
12 - 5 drops
13 - 7 drops
14 - 9 drops

So after 1 hour 10 mins, I ended up with 8 Eternal Life, as well as enough junk like this to net me 83 gold, and 3 greens. I was lucky enough to be alone the entire time. But I will say, it was maddenly monotonous

The ones right around the Avatar of Freya are friendly, yes, but the ones scattered around with the cobras and crocodiles are neutral, totally kill-able.
