Powering Up Your Green-Thumb!

For all of you amazing herbalist out there, I just wanted to give you a heads up on how to obtain the three different ranks for gathering this plant.

Rank 1: Gather your first Dreamleaf. You will receive a quest to go to Dalaran and talk to the Herbalism Trainer.

Rank 2: Obtain a Blight-Twisted Herb from using the herbalism skill on corrupted plants in Val'Sharah. (I had the best luck in Darkheart Thicket.)

Rank 3: Obtain a Blight-Choked Herb in the same manner as before. You will need to summon and kill a fairly difficult NPC to complete the quest that this item gives, and a five-player team is suggested. (This will be a bit of a grind. Be prepared to spend some time out here farming the creatures. You MUST use your gather herbs ability on their corpses in order to get the quest item.)

Note: You will need to farm the nightmare twisted creatures in Shala'nir. Defiled Grovewalker, Vilepetal Rooter, and Desecrated Ancient can have the herbalism skill used on them. The vilepetals are my personal favorite to farm while looking for these items, simply because they drop an amazing amount of Dreamleaf as well.

Theres a colour difference between a healthy Dreamleaf (Blue) and the nightmare tainted Dreamleaf (Red) Which spawns the Nightmare Creeper

By far the best place i've had to farm these and by a quite large margin is to run around and herb the Trees/plant corpses outside the entrance to Darkheart Thicket/Emeral Nightmare.
Almost everyday theres a World Quest there to kill in that area and very few are herbers so far
after an hour of farming on my server i've recieved over 700 Dreamleaf and 500 Seeds.
