Reading these numbers
At current lowest listed prices the 5 reagents for one craft of Azshari Salad cost 106 gold51 silver. Most of that is Dreamleaf - 5 at 4 gold90 silver each, 24 gold50 silver, 23.0% of the whole basket. Watch that one price and you have watched most of this recipe.
Break-even is 112 gold11 silver per craft, 16 gold1 silver per item at 7 items a craft - below that listed price the craft loses gold once Blizzard’s 5% cut is taken. The crafted item’s lowest listed price is 17 silver, which does not clear it.
The crafted item currently lists for less than its reagents cost: −105 gold32 silver before fees, and the Auction House would still take 5 silver95 copper of a sale, so a craft loses 105 gold37 silver at these prices. At current listings, buying the crafted item costs less than making it. That is an estimated -98.9% return on the gold you put into reagents.
Listing depth right now: 766 units across 33 auctions region-wide. Depth separates a market price from a single asking figure, but listings are not sales, so read it alongside the estimate.
Costs use each reagent’s lowest listed price; the estimate is the crafted item’s lowest listed price, times the items one craft makes, minus those reagents and Blizzard’s 5% sale cut. Listings are asking prices, not sales. Recalculated every snapshot and left blank rather than guessed when a price is missing. How we estimate crafting profit →
