There is quite a few iron spawns in Thousand Needles and I found it to be a great place to farm iron. On my server (Firetree) a stack of 20 sells for 5g. I found it an awesome way to get my mount.
I found that Stranglethorn Vale is where I can find the most Iron Deposits. A stack on Aerie Peak (Alliance) goes for around 15g. I don't really know why, but I can't complain if I make a ton off of it.
Arathi Highlands is good mining place for minning Iron Deposits. With my lvl 40 its good 'cause i dont have much threath in Arathi so i ride offroad all over the land... Its good also going to Hillsbrad's side of Thoradin's Wall...
