Probably Not. On average there are 5 of them in my AH, and always from different people. Its a rather common rare world drop. If you get one to drop, use it, or DE it. I wouldnt spend the time trying to AH it.

This is a pretty good weapon for a hunter because of the stats. Also, if you are a hunter and happen to find yourself in a place where you can't get far enough back to use your bow/crossbow/gun, then you have a decent dps weapon. I found this in the Auction House for 5 or 6 gold and it was extremely nice for my 40 hunter.

Wait.. what? Good for hunters because of its stats?! NO! First of all, a leveling hunter should be BM so he can chill and let the pet tank. A beastmastery-hunters pet will keep agro, no need for stamina. What is the spirit good for? Manaregen? Yeah, ofcourse it gives like 0,5 mana per 5 seconds when not in combat, but thats not really as good as a Scalping Tomahawk of Agility is (+1 agility) If youre reading this as a hunter trying to figure out if you need it, please do not buy it, you make everyone else puke and you will only lose money and respect from such a purchase. Some better weapo

Are you an idiot? This is NOT a hunter weapon. Which is fairly obvious with it's lack of agility. If this is a hunter weapon, you know nothing about hunters. To be honest, this isn't even good for warriors really. It is, at best, disenchant fodder.
I like to actually join in the fight with my pet and start hitting the enemy with my weapon

In all this weapon can be good for a hunter, as I have the Crusader enchant on mine, and I've personally never had a better weapon for me.
I really hope this is a troll post.

No, I am not a troll, and I like to actually enjoy myself on WoW, and try out different methods of playing the game, because I don't see why I should play it how every single other player plays it, these stats are what work for me, they might not work for you, but they sure as hell do for me.

Shadowspawn, the point he was making was that raw stamina and spirit is never the way to go for a hunter. The weapons he linked had stamina, but what it had more importantly was offensive stats such as agility and attack power. That is what makes the weapons worth more than Khoo's point. With the change to druids being able to use polearms, i find this a fantastic weapon for stamina stacking bear druids, which are pretty useful for pvp (flag carriers) or pve (tanking dungeons).

The average on Ysera is 10-20g, its a great spear for any class but there are better ones out there, Dont bother trying to buy and resell since the price is usualy stays the same and doesnt fluxate much, use it or DE it

One thing of note about this polearm is that it has the greatest amount of stamina in the 30-39 bracket, making it a decent weapon for a stamina stacking hunter. So, it's not completely worthless. However, Obsidian Cleaver (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=9383) is still the best option for this purpose as it does give some offensive stats.

With the changes to druids being able to use polearms this may be a worth while weapon for tanking purposes. Especially if its only 10ish gold. Probably other stuff that would be over all more usefull, but still a decent amount of stamina incase you find yourself lacking.

It is most likely named after Richard Khoo, one of the SC2 game designers that has been working at the company since before the launch of vanilla WoW.

This is one of the very, very few polearms that are not agility or strength based before level 60, making this highly sought after for anyone leveling a polearm wielding balance or resto druid since the changes made for WoD. Since WoD these two specs get their bear and cat form stats from their intelligence. The others are as follows:

Rusted Pitchfork Muchdweller Spear (horde only, Silverpine Forrest quest reward) Short Spear Pitchfork Bloodpike Heavy Spear Poison Tipped Bone Spear Grim Reaper Diabolical Skewer Blight Frenzied Striker

The majority of these are either stat-less whites, or proc-based green/blues. Khoo's Point is the only polearm which is available to either faction with a stat boost. Frenzied Striker has enhancement boosts, but it's not nearly as useful IMO. Well worth the price if you see this polearm in the AH. I got mine for a little over 100g, and intend on using it into level 60+ when the first intelligence based polearms appear and can finally be upgraded.
