Mana Thistle

Currently farming these in my pursuit of learning all recipes; just need the [item=32839] from the [item=32840]. Suffice to say, there hasn't been any stock on the AH in a very long time.

Here's my farming advice/guide.

2. Set your Hearthstone to Shattrath City.
3. 
   
4. Head to Skettish in lower Terokkar Forest - Kill all the [npc=23029] (Usually I could find three spawned at any one time) and collect all the [object=181281] nodes you spot (I've never seen more then two spawned at any one time at this location, but certainly expect to find two.)

6. Head to The Barrier Hills above Shattrath City - collect the two spawned [object=181281] nodes.

8. Take the portal to Isle of Quel'Danas - You should be able to find four spawned [object=181281] nodes (two in the main area where you spawn and two around back.)

10. Use your Hearthstone and refer back to step 2.

These have become a pain to farm due to it being a necessary component in getting the Sun Darter Hatchling. As a result, I believe the most reliable source for herbalists is collecting them from the Underbog Colossus in Serpentshrine Cavern. They're not a guaranteed gather but considering the amount of traffic the normal farming places are getting, this is definitely more stress-free.

In case it's not obvious from the maps of the Mana Thistle world object (http://www.wowhead.com/?object=181281), this herb grows exclusively in places only accessible by flying mount. (Well, you can port to Socrethar's island in Netherstorm, but only during a quest line that's level 70 anyway.)
