Except then you'd have to be level 60 to use the items, at which point you'd be bumped up to the 60-69 bracket, which completely defeats the purpose of twinking in the first place.

pre-BC this was a sweet mace... but the mats were a pain. post-BC... this recipe and mace are pretty much pointless

There's no weapon rewards in Hellfire penninsula that are better than Persuader.

A pretty good mace for it's level, and it's not really hard to obtain. You might end up grinding for a while, but with the current costs for Arcane Crystals etc, it's not as hard as it used to be. The crit and hit on it makes it very viable for a fury warrior or a mace rogue at 60. The only negative side is that it's main hand, which makes it less useful then for example Ironfoe (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=11684) which is also a main hand mace, just a lot better.

Of course, considering how incredibly rare of a drop Ironfoe is, if you're 58 and want an epic MH mace with crit, might as well work for this. :)

Unless it's changed, the plans are still considered epic and drop off a world dragon (the comments include someone who said they got it from a BC chest). On top of that, the Skin of Shadow are soulbound. So, if you can find a crafter who has the plans and will run Scholo for the materials, then it's an easy one to get crafted. Otherwise, it's still a bit of a pain.

Apparently, this weapon was created by a Blacksmith having trouble collecting payments from customers who bought his weapons and armor. He created this mace and called it "Persuader", since he let it "talk" to the customers. The customers paid instantly.

Was changed to 'One-Handed' with the previous patch, even though the website has not updated it yet.

I won the plans on the AH of Darrowmere for 23G...... I'm not a blacksmith, only intention is to resell them, but seeing as no one bid higher then 23 I'm going to presume these wont sell for much anymore?

Pff, Alterac Valley brackets are still 51-60, 61-70, 71-80. A level 60 twink with the level 60 PvP epix pwns in AV, but sux in WSG and AB as you will be moved to the 60-69bg and be of the lowest level in your bg. :P

Or you could just PvP in the 59 brackets, and get the 60 PvP honor items.
