I got this out of a Lockbox.... any ideas how much I should sell for?

I can honestly say no one would want this anymore. Easily replaceable in TBC. 50g starting-bid for 24 hours should be ok then hope that some random people out there want to bid for it.

I got this item from an Eternium Lockbox.

I got mine from a trash pull in Molten Core back in November 2006. I've heard it also drops in ZG, AQ20/40, and many of the world bosses... but apparently not since WowHead has been collecting stats. BOE pattern, so it can be given/sold... at least, it could back when I acquired it. Of course, it also used to require Swordsmith to learn.

Just got this from a lockbox as well, pity pre TBC and level 59, will get superseeded fairly quickly and alot of mats to make Don't expect to get much for it.

I just picked one up from Araj the Summoner in Andorhal.

Just had a drop off Onyxia.

I got this off Baron Rivendare today, although he isn't listed as a possible mob to drop this recipe.

He will be now, a mob isn't listed unless it has dropped it in the past. For world drops such as this used to be, every single mob in the level range in game can't be listed, it's impractical. :)

I had it drop off Pre 3.2.2 Onyxia a number of months ago.

Just had it drop from Azuregos in Azshara.

This pattern dropped for me today farming my [b]Zul'Gurub[/b] Mount / Rep on Trash Mobs. ([i]Spider Wing[/i]).

as 4.0.6 (and i believe 4.1 ^_- ) still drop, got mine from [npc=11659] while farming [item=11382]

Today I got this recipe from eternium lockbox.

I got this (patch 4.3) from a mob (can't remember which one) in AQ 40.

collectors these days wana pay a few thousand gold for this on AH

Just got this from a Qiraj Swarmguard so you can still get it from the mobs

Good to hear but a 0% drop rate is not very intriguing.

Just got this today. Never saw it drop on any previous runs so I checked here and saw how rare it was! Glad I used the recipe on my BS alt. Should be able to make a ton of gold crafting this sword due to rarity.

The in-game info is bad. The Coilskar chests in Shadowmoon Valley have never contained anything other than a quest item and some miscellaneous trash.

Update Comment for 25 Feb 2019: Another Black Wing Lair run today, and bless my luck, a Second Rare Scroll dropped, Plans: Sageblade, from Nefarian at the end. I always run BWL on Normal, several times a week, for the Rare patterns that he can drop, and this was a fabulous reward for my Blacksmith. The Undermine Journal has it listed at a mean price on the Auction House of just over 73k Gold, so the Wowhead price might be a bit off. Not selling however, it's on my list of Patterns/Plans/Etc to acquire. Happy day today!

Just picked up another [Plans: Sageblade] today, again from Nefarian in BWL! Now both of my Blacksmiths have it, next one goes on the AH!
