This pattern comes from the Decoded True Believer Clippings.
Getting this will take some grinding. Unless you buy the pattern or Encrypted Twilight Texts from the Auctionhouse. You then bring 10 Encrypted Twilight Texts to the NPC Hermit Ortell just east of Hive'regal in Silithus. For each turn in of 10 Encrypted Twilight Texts, you will receive Decoded True Believer Clippings in your mailbox.
By grinding for the Encrypted Twilight Texts, you also get reptation with the Cenarion Circle.

This is not true. I have gotten a Darkrune, infact it is in my mailbox in this second. The droprate or mobs it drops from, must have been insanely lowed or something. But it can still drop. Although this is the ONLY one i have seen in the game for years :S It should also be noted that the "tooltip" is saying "Use: Restores 1,200 mana at the cost of 800 life. (15 min Cooldown)" instead of "Use: Restores 900 to 1500 mana at the cost os 600 to 1000 life. (15 Min Cooldown)" which is stated here on wowhead :S

The droprate might have been increased with Cataclysm, it was for many similar recipes.
I've gotten the Decoded True Believer Clippings on two different characters. The first character got no pattern, but the second one did. My second character happens to be a blacksmith, so I wonder if that had any effect on it.
I got this recipe from LBRS. I'm guessing its a low drop chance.
I got it with the first 10 Encrypted Twilight Text :D
While still available as of 5.0, one of the materials necessary, Dark Rune, is not. I have already spoken to a GM about this and they said the Dev team is working on what to do about it.
Dark Runes used to drop in Scholomance, before it got an upgrade.
