Ruins of Alterac in Hillsbrad foothills is FILLED with tin vein like every 2 feet there is a node and inside the cave i got 5 nodes and they spawn pretty quick easily lvled my mining in this area.
Most of you are pointing out that this is the "best" place to mine tin, but it isn't. Its the best place to level mining, but considering how much incendicite ore is in that cave, it yields very minimal tin. Please don't give out misinformation.
ruins of alterec is the best place EVER to mine tin ore.
Under two hours I mined;
507x Tin ore
57x Silver ore
9x Copper ore
7x Shadow gem
3x Moss agate
and A LOT of coarse stones and silk clothes (from the mobs near the mine who keep attacking you)just keep running in circles and also the ogre cave have 4-5 tin veins or 3-4 tin veins plus silver vein. wetlands suck ass btw dont go there, waste of time.
WARNING: remember that you must have 100% + mount so you can mine them fast, because they respawn faster when you mine them quickly. Ive have noticed that when you mine them with 1 minute or more time between them, they respawn slower. Hope this helps all the miners =P

Tin Ore is in the Classic Era game data, the era World of Warcraft: Forever is built on. Blizzard describes Forever as vanilla World of Warcraft plussed up: its story sits in year one, characters level to 60 and stay there, and it launches November 4, 2026. Blizzard has not said which vanilla items appear in Forever, so nothing here is a Forever claim; it is the Classic Era record for Tin Ore next to the live retail market on this page.
