How to Unlock Decor

We can name at least one source for 937 of 2,526 decor items straight from the game files. Pick a source to filter the catalog, or open its guide for the full list with vendors, achievement categories, quest names and boss names. One decor item can have more than one source. Most of the rest is sold by vendors whose stock lives on Blizzard's servers rather than in the client, so we leave it unlabelled instead of guessing.

Crafted decor is a realm-market item, so each realm has its own price. Lowest listing is the cheapest current US realm price; Realms is how many US connected realms list it. Materials is the reagent cost at the lowest listed commodity price, shown as a partial sum when a reagent (usually lumber) is not on the Auction House. About WoW Player Housing

Player housing gives every warband its own house on a plot in a neighborhood: Founder's Point for the Alliance and Razorwind Shores for the Horde. The house is shared by every character in the warband, and you furnish it inside and out with decor collected all over Azeroth. Early access opened with patch 11.2.7 on December 2, 2025, and the full system shipped with World of Warcraft: Midnight in patch 12.0.0 on January 20, 2026.

Collecting a decor item for the first time earns house experience, and house levels raise how much decor you can place (the maximum house level is 12 as of patch 12.1.0). Each item has a placement cost in the game data, which is why this catalog can sort by it: cheap accents fill a room without eating your budget, while large structures cost more.

This WoW housing database (the housing DB) lists 2,526 decor items across 7 catalog categories, with the same expansion, size, culture, style and holiday tags the in-game catalog filters on. For 937 of them we can show where they come from: a vendor or renown rank, an achievement, a quest, a profession recipe or a boss. Crafted and tradable decor also carries live US Auction House prices from our own scans. The catalog on this page is read from client build 12.1.5.70391 (October 13, 2026).
