Troll Housing Decor in WoW

Our WoW housing decor database holds 152 items under the Troll culture tag. That is 6.0% of the 2,526 decor items we list from the current game client, using the same category and tag names the in-game Decor Catalog filters on. Every row below is read from the game files, not typed in by hand.

By catalog category these items split as Accents (71), Furnishings (24), Lighting (20), Structural (18), Miscellaneous (6) and Functional (1). Categories are how the in-game catalog groups decor when you open it to shop for a room.

By size the tags read Tiny (5), Small (53), Medium (42), Large (43) and Huge (9). Size matters when you plan a layout, because large pieces take floor space and small ones fill gaps.

The most common style tags among these items are Horde (41), Lavish (32), Spooky (4), Nature (2), Simple (2) and Cute (1). One decor item can carry more than one tag, so these counts overlap.

The most common culture tags among these items are Orcish (1). One decor item can carry more than one tag, so these counts overlap.

The most common expansion tags among these items are Midnight (114), Battle for Azeroth (30), Cataclysm (3), Classic (2), Legion (1) and Mists of Pandaria (1). One decor item can carry more than one tag, so these counts overlap.

Holiday-tagged decor here: Day of the Dead (1).

We hold an in-game render for 143 of these 152 items; the rest show their inventory icon.

Of the 152 Troll items, 58 have at least one source we can name from the client files, and 94 do not. The unlabelled ones are mostly sold by vendors whose stock lives on Blizzard's servers rather than in the game files, so we leave them blank instead of guessing.

Every decor item has a placement cost in the game data, and a house can only hold so much of it. Across the 152 Troll items that carry a cost, the range runs from 1 to 5, with a median of 3 and an average of 2.6.

The cheapest to place are Amani Building Peg (1), Amani Forgemaster's Decorative Spear (1), Amani Hanging Brazier (1), Amani Hex Candle (1) and Amani Horn Beaker (1), each shown with its cost in brackets.

The most expensive to place are Zul'Aman Brazier Post (5), Zul'Aman Ancestral Fountain (5) and Zandalari Ritual Drum (5).

If you are fitting a room into a tight budget, sort the full catalog by lowest placement cost and filter to this tag; the housing planner then lets you try the layout with the real models.

12 of the 152 Troll items have a live listing on at least one US connected realm in our scans. Crafted and tradable decor is a realm-market item, so each realm sets its own price; the figure below is the lowest current US listing and Realms counts how many US connected realms list it.

The priciest lowest-listings are Unearthed Amani Sarcophagus Base (9,998g), Unearthed Amani Sarcophagus Lid (7,500g), Zandalari Skullfire Lamp (5,500g).
