Goblin Screwdriver

Goblins ain't exactly known for their *!@#in' around with such things as actual screwdrivers.

...It's a joke... Search "Goblin fishing pole" it's a stick of dynamite. It means Goblins could in a way use this dagger as a screwdriver if they don't have one. Besides I don't believe they would have had screwdrivers back then? And don't be all like "whell thann h0wcum we haz hellacoptur luzl?"

"back then"? WoW is no "medieval ages"-game, it's a fantasy game...

I'm sure there are screwdrivers in WoW, considering the many types of bolts there are. edit: Oh snap, I just realized the idiocy of my comment, you don't use a screwdriver on a bolt! Silly me.

There is one type of [url=http://www.wowhead.com/?item=10498]Screwdriver[/url] in W.O.W, it either works for both Phillips and flat screws, or one of those hasn't been invented in the W.O.W.

This used to be of green quality (I've only stared at one in my bank for years!) but now its rare!

this doesnt drop anymore. i went through deadmines the goblin engineers r still there but you cant attack them, theyre green now...

Curiously enough it's still possible to kill them, although seem impossible to loot: when they rush out the door, chase them and once they're near a [npc=48284], if you destroy it, that will effectively kill the [npc=48439]s. Anyway, as said, since they're friendly, you can't loot them.

I still have mine on the 19 twink I created and never geared. Hard to tell if this is an upgrade or not to the current MH BiS Dagger, which is the Impish Blade. This has hit, but 2 less agility. Anyway, glad I kept it.

Where can I find a left-handed version of this?

Just equip something in your main hand and a one-hand or off-hand item goes in the left. Sorry, but all player characters seem to be right-handed. Yet one-shouldered armor, like [item=42950], appears to be made for left-handed folks.

Has been restored in 10.1.7. Took me a few tries but it finally dropped in Deadmines normal from Goblin Engineer. More and more are popping on AH too so it doesn't look to be ultra rare. Good luck!

The drops-for listing seems to be wrong -- dropped yesterday for me on a Retribution Paladin.
