I heard that the trail of purple mist have been removed with the wotlk new version of this weapon, but it would be really cool to have this one look like the original [item=23054] (so with the purple light on it). What's the point of this re release when [item=39270] already exist ?
Same goes for Widow's Weep (new version of [item=22806]) and [item=39344] (new version of [item=23577])
Despite not showing in the shared models, this weapon seems to have no discernible difference from [item=39270] from 10 man Naxx.
this one actually glows but it's so low you practically can't see it. same goes for widow's weep, their glows is just toned down to oblivion

I cannot for the life of me find any differences between Hatestrike and Dawn of Demise, they have the same faint glow, same tint, same animation. I hoped Dawn would be more like Andonisus but it's just a more expensive copy of Hatestrike.
