Pattern: Girdle of Ruination

Dropped for me off a Wrathwalker in Legion Hold :p Also considering whether or not to learn it, since I'll be going Spellfire tailoring. (Moonkin Druid)

It doesn't matter which tailoring you take on this recipe, you can still make any cloth (spell-, shadow-, mooncloth) I'm going shadoweave tailoring as I 'm a warlock and Shadow's embrace-set is perfect for my current shadow destruction or affliction. Remember that fastest way to get your desired cloth is to do 1 of each sort and trade them with other tailors.

This changed with 2.0.7 It has 18 more stam, 13 int, -5 crit, +11 dmg. ATM it's the best belt for mages in the game.

Really it's the best belt for any offensive caster in the game...

With the added stats from 2.0.7, this belt has become one of the bext caster belts that i have seen imo. I was hesitant to sell the recipe on the AH but now it was well worth learning prior to 2.0.7. This belt being a BOE makes it obtainable to everyone but the price will be hefty seeming it takes a Primal Nether which is rare in 5 mans unless your running Heroic.

Add 2 gems to ruination and it's better. 2x+9: +3 damage, +18 stam, -2 int, -1 crit rating. +9 & +4crit,5dam: +22 stam, -2 int, +3 crit rating.

On my server people are charging from 85g to 250g for nethers, all depends on the person crafting. but normal price for nethers imo is around 120-130g

"85g to 250g for nethers" - then again, when buying a craft for this you might want to consider how rare the pattern is. Ppl crafting this for 200gish on my server while spellstrike goes for under a hundred

The belt got a stealth nerf in patch 2.0.10. Spell crit rating changed from 21 to 20 Damage and healing from 41 to 39 Not much, but still a nerf :P

People usually charge around 50g for the nether in my server. To craft this belt i'd happily pay 200g, really cool belt... Great Hug

Got this a few nights ago off of trash mobs in normal slabs. Out of four other tailors in the group, I won the roll. So damn, I feel lucky.

Can anyone confirm or deny that the Shattered Hand Houndmasters indeed drop this recipe as it says on the recipe's droplist? And if they do, does the recipe drop both in normal and heroic mode, or only in heroic?

Its a world drop, so you have no better chance getting it from a Houndmaster than any other outland mob.

Just dropped for me from a Voidspawn in Nagrand, I was very happy :)

While grinding out mobs in Nagrand I had this pattern drop off a Mo'arg Engineer.

Just got this recipe while i was in nagrand aswell, farming mobbs to skin

Quite the surprise to loot this while farming other patterns in The Botanica. Nuked the small group of minions in front of Thorngrin the Tender, (several Nethervine Inciters, Reapers, and two Sunseeker Channelers) pulling Thorngrin in as well, looted the bodies and bagged a Pattern I didn't have. Woo! Dropped in BFA, Normal difficulty.

for [npc=21801] The respawn rate is about 1 minute. /way 64.73 84.02 You need to wear your [item=30719]. If you lost your pair, you can get another from [npc=21774] in Wildhammer Stronghold. [npc=21801] will appear as a red shadow at that way point about 100 ft in the air. hover, wait, 1 shot, and [spell=130] About 40 kills and still nothing. will update when I try again.

got two of these for 5k each on staghelm NA, didnt know this was rare, dont see these often. looks decent xmog too
