A Shady Character is a quest for level 50.
Your followers tell of a smuggler of wit and guile, who was able to charm them with stories of lands far and wide.
Though it cost a fair sum to retrieve, they managed to obtain a token which when displayed to the smuggler, will allow the bearer to purchase his wares.

The vendor for this pet is Olly the "Pet Smuggler" and he's located at 45.5, 86.4. In order for the mini pet to show up as purchasable from him, you need to win PvP pet battles till the quest "A Shady Message" shows up for you. Unfortunately, it's completely random when it will appear. Someone reported having done about 500 battles and still hadn't got it. :(
Just got the quest on 26.12.2025.
Did about ~7 PVP battles in Boralus until it dropped.
You get [item=166244] in your bag that gives you a mission at the mission table, which unlocks the vendor.
Why is it marked as Cataclysm quest? The same goes to a multitude of quests from N'Zoth's Horrific Visions. They are all listed as Cataclysm quests. They were added in BfA, not Cata.
Can I correct it somehow or report it to moderators?
This one: Level 50.
Steps, storylines and map placement from the client’s QuestLine, prerequisite and QuestPOI data; neighbouring quest text is Blizzard’s own (quest API), shortened to its opening sentences.
