Artificer Romuul

THIS QUEST IS NOT BUGGED.

If you'd like to have Artificer Romuul as a follower, it's very easy to do. Go to the top of a rocky hill at Shadowmoon Valley (42,40) and you'll find Romuul hammering away at a large purple crystal. YOU MUST TALK TO HIM - he may not have any quest for you yet. This is a mini-event that happens every five minutes or so. So wait around and soon you'll see a pack of wolves coming up the hill. Kill the small wolves and the rare Wildfang Matriarch will then spawn at the bottom of the hill. You MUST tag her in the kill to get the quest to pop. If you have a party member who kills her before you tag her, the quest will not pop. This is important because she spawns at the bottom of the hill and if you're at the top, you might not reach her before someone kills her. After you kill her, Romuul will offer himself as a follower in gratitude for your help.

If after doing this event you are not offered the quest, simply log off and then back on and it will be offered to you.

For some reason, after the event ends I can loot the wolf but Romuul does give me the quest to add him as a follower.
(As of this new build - I went back to check and Romuul now gives me the quest to add him as a follower)
