Articles of Acquisition

Articles of Acquisition is a quest for level 80 in K'aresh. It is step 3 of 4 in the Lost and Found Storage storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in K'aresh at 65.5, 75.4. It rewards 1,450 experience and money.

Description

Take this ledger to Xy'vez. Let him know I expect dinars upfront and on time. There are to be no discrepencies between my records and his, do you understand?

You may head to the market to inform him. Knowing traders like him, he'll have already found a spot to set up shop.

This venture has my blessing. Don't let it become unprofitable or we'll be seeing each other again, offworlder.

Obviously a reference to the Ferengi Rules Of Acquisition from Star Trek (specifically, Deep Space Nine and Voyager).

This quest is part of the quest chain that provides an inworld explanation for the removal of void storage, an expired contract. And as Rule 17 states:
A contract is a contract is a contract… but only between Ferengi.

That is every comment on this page.

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

  • Obtaining PermitsK'aresh · Level 80

There is a difference between securing a permit and securing permission to sell in Tazavesh. Xy'vez is a licensed dealer. He can buy and sell as he pleases in accordance with the authorities. However, I am glad he knows his place. If you are on my streets, you need my permission.

After this quest

  • Expired GoodsK'aresh · Level 80
